PMA MASIDLAK Class of 2010: A living example of humility, respect, and love of God
The Mandirigmang Sibol ng Dakilang Kayumangging Lahi of the Philippine Military Academy will have their graduation ceremony on March 1. PMA superintendent Vice Admiral Leonardo Calderon described the Masidlak Class of 2010 as “the brightest class” he has known since the 1990s. Below are some of the excerpts from the Philippine Star interview with two of the top cadets of the class.
Top notcher Eraño Belen from Dumaguete (a former BS ECE student and a son of a tricycle driver): “Every Visayan must dream big and do everything to succeed. We were brought up to dream to have a good education.”
Fifth placer Jacob Kho of Baguio (a former BS Biology cum laude graduate): “I was dreaming of becoming someone to save lives (as a doctor) now I am ready to take lives.”
The Masidlak class is a living example of humility, excellence, respect, honor, duty and love of God and country, Calderon said.
